In November 2021, CFG launched its first Licensed Academy in Bolivia, extending and cementing the alliance between the Group and its first partner club, Club Bolívar.
The facility focuses on youth teams with the long-term aim of developing players for the first team squad and helping to improve the standard of football in Bolivia.
The facility is currently under construction with an estimated date of completion of mid-2024.
Its design and the programs operating in the facility are based on City Football Group’s Academy Blueprint. City Football Licensed Academy Santa Cruz will feature at least three football pitches, a gym, a dining room and a study centre as well as a separate residence with a capacity for at least 60 players when finalized.
